Hybrid Encryption Algorithm Implementation on Electronic Mail Service

The study focuses on two main objectives, to develop a Hybrid Encryption Algorithm and design a Pretty Good Privacy using the developed hybrid encryption algorithm. The researcher developed hybrid encryption algorithm composed of two known and effective encryption algorithms namely the RSA and Solitaire Encryption Algorithms. The goal is to enhance its security vulnerability against any unexpected attacks, reliability and speed of execution. Utilizing a Bluff key generation where it hides the session key used to generate the keystream. Eventually decreased the vulnerability of the algorithm from hackers or cyber attackers. The developed algorithm will then be integrated on an existing open source email client. As a result, the system, as expected, will provide a new breed of Pretty Good Privacy system. The sender will be able to send and receive encrypted email in text format messages over the internet. The system is designed to be more robust and flexible compared to other existing email clients with PGP feature. That even a non-PGP email services online will be able to decrypt the email messages in a user-friendly interface. An RSA key management protocol is utilized to decipher the message confidentially using a private key that is available for download online. The proponent utilized the existing open source Roundcube Webmail client. The result showed that the algorithm executes faster compared to the existing RSA algorithm at an average time difference of 0.11 seconds using similar hardware specifications and software requirements. The developed PGP System has a particular limit on formatted and plaintext encryption/decryption processes where it does not support Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) handling.

Job Pressure and Self-Knowledge as Coping Strategies of the Faculty

The 21st century have ushered new challenges for the educators. Much more so with the advent of new information technology, the paradigm shift in our curriculum and the onset of ASEAN 2015, the role of teachers has changed significantly. There is now a need for teachers to keep abreast with these changes to be able to cope with the demands of his or her profession and to cater to the needs of the 21st century type of learners. Coping with these development may sometimes cause stress to teachers. Teacher stress affects various aspects of teacher health and may influence how effective teachers are in the classroom, with potential consequences for their studentsí behavior and learning ( University of Houston, 2011) Thus, this study aims to determine the stressors experienced by the faculty of Saint Michael College of Caraga and their coping strategies. The study used of the descriptive correlation research method. It was designed to determine the extent, to which different variables are related to each other in the population of interest. The researcher used universal sampling in this study. The respondents were all the full-time faculty members of Saint Michael College of Caraga. The researcher used validated questionnaires. The study revealed that the greatest stressor experienced by the teachers of SMCC is Job Pressure which includes maintaining and cleaning the classroom facilities. The least stressor is poor human relations. The coping strategy employed by the faculty of SMCC, selfknowledge ranked by the teachers as their common coping strategy employed in dealing with stress. The least coping strategy employed by the teacher is involvement in productive activities. With the findings of the study as the baseline, the researcher proposed an Intervention Program. The said Intervention Program has two components namely, the Expansion of the school facilities as a mean to lessen the identified stressors of the teachers and the Personnel Development Program which includes establishment of the Professional Learning Community, Emotional Competence Training and the intensification of the Faculty Development Program.

Teaching Strategies, Administrative Support and Assistance in School Assignments as Determinants of Academic Performance of the Students

The study aimed to determine what factors influenced the academic performance of the secondary students of Saint Michael College of Caraga. The study used the descriptive correlational research design with the use of a validated researcher-made instrument in gathering data and administered to the parents, teachers and student respondents. The independent variables considered in this study were two parts. Part I include parental factors as indicated by attendance in school activities, financial support, and assistance in school assignments. Part II includes school factors indicated by teaching strategies, administrative support, and school facilities. The statistical tools employed were the mean, Pearson-r moment correlation, and the step-wise regression analysis. The findings showed that parentsí attendance in school activities, financial support for school activities, and school facilities/equipment showed no significant relationship on studentsí academic performance. Factors about teaching strategies, administrative support and parentsí assistance in studentsí assignments directly determined the academic performance of the students.

The Influence of Co-Teachers in the Teaching Performance among Criminal Justice Educators

The very significant and artistic function of an educator is played by a teacher when he facilitates the teaching-learning process. Aside from this, criminal justice educators must also develop good working relationship with their co-teachers and engage in cooperative learning with them towards school improvement. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the influence of school stressors such as administrators, co-teachers, and students in the teaching performance of criminal justice educators from the four (4) schools in Davao del Norte. Through the descriptive correlational method, validated questionnaire, Mean and Pearson r, data revealed that co-teachers have influenced the teaching performance of criminal justice educators.
